Innovations in Imaging.
CORPORATE OVERVIEW
ULTRA HIGH FREQUENCY TECHNOLOGY
Quantum Medical Imaging is a highly innovative company which designs and manufactures high quality medical radiographic systems for hospitals and imaging centers around the world. The company’s mission is to supply the radiographic imaging industry with superior products for enhanced diagnostic capability.
Quantum’s Ultra High Frequency x-ray generators utilize the world’s most advanced technology. Operating in excess of 100 kHz, these high-powered units provide the capability for optimal imaging while minimizing patient dose and reducing exposure times.
DESIGNED FOR TECHNOLOGISTS Designed by a team of engineers with extensive input from technologists, Q-Rad systems are highly refined for logical and efficient operation. This unique approach to system development simplifies radiographic examinations and assures that Quantum products meet the needs of users worldwide. From the design stage through final product testing, Q-Rad systems integrate high quality, durable materials for robust construction and advanced electronics for optimal performance. Rigorous manufacturing standards and a commitment to evolving technologies assure long-term system value and customer satisfaction.
“D-QiX” DIGITAL IMAGING READY With a focus on the future, Q-Rad systems integrate a path for system conversion from analog imaging to Quantum’s digital imaging platform, "D-QiX." This highly advanced system provides increased speed, improved efficiency, and exceptional image quality. Quantum's upgrade capability to the D-QiX system secures your investment today and in the future.
Operators may select from three exposure modes, permitting varying levels of operator intervention. Quantum’s Automatic Programmed Radiology (APR) mode requires minimal operator intervention, utilizing pre-programmed settings to determine all technique factors, including mA, kVp and mAs. This level of automation ensures that the required technique factors are optimized through factoryrecommended settings. Other exposure modes, such as AEC and manual, require greater operator input.
VERTI-Q VERTICAL WALL STAND (QW-420) Expanded vertical travel of the VERTI-Q allows a variety of imaging series, from skull through weight bearing. The VERTI-Q provides maximum travel capabilities, with minimum focal spot to floor distance. Quantum’s exclusive EZ-Glide* hand control enables precise and easy adjustment of the VERTI-Q image receptor.
EZ-GLIDE*
* PATENT PENDING.
The VERTI-Q Vertical Wall Stand integrates Quantum’s exclusive EZ-Glide hand control, which is ergonomically designed to allow operator adjustment from a comfortable standing position with minimal effort. By actually pivoting on its axis during the vertical adjustment of the image receptor, the EZ-Glide hand control minimizes the repetitive motion required for continuous receptor positioning by the operator. The result is maximized operator efficiency and optimized comfort for the technologist during receptor movement.
A programmable, multilanguage capability permits the selection of one of several languages to be displayed in the LCD panel. The non-flex surface of the "QUIET-LIFT" elevating, float-top table permits complete table extension without compromising patient safety.
GOLD STAR NETWORK An exclusive worldwide dealer network provides factory-authorized sales and service for all Quantum Medical Imaging systems and products. As members of Quantum’s Gold Star Network, these dealers have been recognized for their excellence in technical support and customer service.
FLOAT-TOP TABLE (QT-740) Quantum’s Float-Top Table enhances patient positioning through its generous travel. With low friction, precision bearing movement, the table is easily adjusted for smooth and accurate imaging. Table accessories are available to simplify imaging procedures.

DELUXE FLOOR-MOUNTED TUBESTAND (QS-550) FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION
Expansive in travel and assembly positioning, Quantum’s Deluxe Floor-Mounted Tubestand provides complete radiographic coverage. Even the most challenging views are simplified through the system’s generous range of motion. Ample horizontal travel on a ten-foot floor track permits performance of off-table examinations.
Stylish yet rugged, Q-Rad systems are designed to accommodate consistent use throughout departments with high patient volumes. Clean, classic lines and a bright, powder-coated finish enhance the system’s low maintenance profile. Constructed of impact-resistant materials, Q-Rad systems provide extended use and exceptional value.
Crosstable views are accomplished easily through the tubestand’s rotational, transverse and trunnion capabilities.
SAFE OPERATION
"QUIET-LIFT" ELEVATING, FLOAT-TOP TABLE (QT-750) Quantum’s "QUIET-LIFT" elevating, float-top table is ideal for orthopedic and trauma use. The table lowers to accommodate stretcher, wheelchair, and casted patients. A flat table surface simplifies efficient patient transfer. Dual recessed foot and hand controls permit convenient access to table locks for float and elevating functions.
Protective measures such as integral system counterbalancing and exclusive FAIL-SAFE* braking systems throughout Quantum products provide safe operation, ensure patient safety and instill confidence in users.
Q-Rad systems offer a variety of collimating systems for varying levels of functionality.
The Deluxe Floor-Mounted Tubestand is also available with an operator handgrip integrating a large LCD window for digital indications of time, date, SID, angle, mode of operation and technique (QS-550X).
